No. It is a dietary supplement, not a drug, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. A diagnosed joint condition has published guidelines, and both the 2019 ACR and 2019 OARSI guidelines put exercise and weight management first and decline to recommend glucosamine or chondroitin.
